Greetings the Peoples of Penguicon!
The Penguicon Board of Directors are looking for you!
Are you interested in becoming a board member for the Penguicon Organization? We’re currently accepting applications for any community member interested in joining the Board.
The Board of Directors are the legal organization in charge of Penguicon and set out some minimal rules and financial considerations for the event, meeting at least 4 times a year.
Job responsibilities for board members are to run the year over year direction of Penguicon, select the ConChair for each year, and guide that ConChair to help to a successful Penguicon.
In order to be eligible, you must not have ever been convicted of a financial felony. Experience with organizing large events or communities is smiled upon but not required.
The deadline for submitting an application is July 16th, 2021.
Interested parties should fill out the Board of Directors Interest Form.
A meeting to interview interested members will be scheduled. Details for this virtual meeting will be emailed out to you prior. Decisions may not be made at the meeting.
